The Pecan Project is warm, organic, and relaxed, with a softer approach to custom design that lets the architecture and materials do most of the work.

The vaulted ceilings and exposed beams gave us a beautiful starting point, so we layered in finishes that added warmth and depth without overwhelming the home. In the kitchen, soft cabinetry, warm wood, woven pendants, open shelving, and a custom hood gave the space a more finished, collected feel, while black-framed windows and doors added just enough contrast to ground the lighter palette.

Throughout the home, we repeated those same materials in subtle ways through wood, stone, black accents, woven textures, and soft neutrals. The finished space feels effortless, cohesive, and elevated, with just enough detail to make the home feel custom while still keeping the relaxed, livable quality that made it so inviting in the first place.
