This kitchen had all the signs of its era: glossy yellow cabinetry, dark granite, heavy tile, and finishes that made the whole space feel darker than it needed to. We stripped it back and completely reimagined it to feel lighter, warmer, and much more intentional.

Custom cabinetry now runs all the way to the ceiling, a statement hood gives the kitchen a strong focal point, and warm wood details keep the brighter palette from feeling too stark. We added new lighting and a beam near the kitchen window to give the breakfast nook more definition and architectural interest. For the styling, we brought in pieces that made the space feel more collected and added the warmth and character the original kitchen was missing.

The finished kitchen feels open and airy, but still layered and inviting. It’s a much more timeless version of the home, with the kind of thoughtful details that make the space feel personal rather than simply updated.
